Paintings from College

Now for my favorite painter, Van Gogh. I really respect his style. Although, I'm very much a realist. I want my paintings to look exactly as they do in real life. I have a hard time achieving something of this style. I really enjoyed re-creating Van Gogh's works. This one is called "Old Man in Sorrow (on the threshold of eternity)." I'm pretty sure I painted this one in 2002, but I didn't write the date on the back of this painting. Boy I wish I had, I hate it when I don't think these sort of things are important at the time. I also drew this one, but my sweet dog Cocoa ripped it to shreds. Not happy about that one. I thought the drawing was way better than the painting. Oh well, things happen.
